What LevyLog does
LevyLog is an offline-first mobile app for council checkpoint staff to log vehicle levies, record payments, and run internal management reports. It works on Android and iOS, with optional cloud sync so your council data is backed up across devices.
With LevyLog, you can:
- Log each vehicle — farmer, product, quantity, truck and trailer details, receipt number, prepaid status.
- Record collections — cash and Izwe (card or mobile money) for non-prepaid loads.
- Flag vehicles — mark suspicious loads for supervisor follow-up.
- Export reports — CSV and PDF summaries by farm, product, receipt, collections, and flags.
- Work offline — log at the roadside without signal; sync when connected.
- Manage inspectors — PIN-based access so each person picks their name from the list.
Important notice
LevyLog is not an official accounting or bookkeeping application and cannot replace your council’s official accounting system. It should only be used to assist staff with generating internal management reports. Download and file exported reports regularly — PDFs and CSV exports are not stored in the app.
